The Rent Company is the leading provider of educational devices to secondary school students, active in the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom. On an annual basis it provides laptops to about 100.000 new students per year.
Laptops are offered as a “devices-as-a-service” to students in a full-service package, called “Eady4U”. This package provides students a fully installed ready-to-use laptop. the option to purchase or rent the laptop, combined with a service package for insurance and repairs. Through this offering The Rent Company provides affordable access to education devices to students in Europe.
The Rent Company has shown impressive growth, roughly doubling the number of new laptops provided per year since the investment of Waterland. It completed one acquisition to enter the UK market and has been quickly winning market share in Belgium.
