Donal Mac Nioclais is an Investment Director at Waterland in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to joining Waterland, Donal was Vice President of Strategy & Development at CRH plc, a leading global construction materials group, where he led M&A and strategy activities for the group's heavy materials divisions in Western Europe and Northern US.

Previously, Donal was CEO of AER BIO, an Irish biotechnology startup, and Commercial Manager at Aquamarine Power, a Scottish renewable energy technology developer. He has also worked in consulting and sales roles with McKinsey & Company and Accenture. Donal holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master's degree in Engineering from Dublin City University in Ireland and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from Télécom SudParis in France.
