Senior Portfolio Manager

Martijn Bouquet is Portfolio Operations Manager* at Waterland in Bussum, the Netherlands.

Prior to joining Waterland, Martijn was an independent strategic advisor to a number of Dutch SMEs; focused on strategy, professionalization and transformation programs in fast-growing and changing companies (scale-ups). Before that, he was COO at an online fashion brand (Rosefield Watches) and later interim-CCO at a health-tech start-up (MedApp); in both cases primarily responsible for professionalizing and running day to day operations of these companies.

Martijn started his career at The Boston Consulting Group in the Netherlands, where he spent 7 years up to Project Leader. At BCG, he worked on a wide range of engagements from strategic reviews, to organizational design and transformation projects, working across a variety of sectors and international locations.

Martijn holds an BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology, a MSc in Finance and Investments from Rotterdam School of Management and a MBA from INSEAD in Singapore.
