Cedric Van Cauwenberghe* is Managing Partner at Waterland in Antwerp, Belgium. Cedric is responsible for the activities of Waterland in Belgium.

Prior to joining Waterland in 2005, Cedric was Investment Director at Rendex Partners, a venture capital fund, where he was responsible for its technology fund (Rendex ICT Fund), including investment strategy, portfolio management and transaction structuring. Before that, he was head of business development at ChemResult, an enterprise software company, and co-founder and CFO of FastBidder, a technology start-up. He started his career as management consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants for their Brussels, Frankfurt and Barcelona offices, focusing on corporate strategy and organizational efficiency. Cedric holds a Master’s of Science in Business Engineering (magna cum laude) from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Solvay Business School), Belgium.
