EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is one of the world's most prestigious competitions celebrating those who are best at creating growth in Denmark and globally. The nomination of Andreas for this award is an acknowledgement of his tremendous work with Helgstrand Dressage.

From the early start in 2008, Andreas had high ambitions for Helgstrand Dressage and in just 10 years the enterprise has developed into one of the largest and most innovative firms in its field, resulting in the partnership with Waterland Private Equity this summer. All along, Andreas has dared to think big and this has acted as a catalyst for the firm, which is now among the world's largest sales and training centres for elite horses.

With many international victories to his name, Andreas is a model for others in the world of dressage and this brings many new talents to Uggerhalne near the city of Aalborg, where the firm is based. Many riders see employment by Andreas as a way to kick-start a career.

The overreaching goal of the competition is to motivate, drive and boost entrepreneurship and to inspire tomorrow's growth successes.

The Entrepreneur Of The Year in Northern Jutland will be named at Restaurant Fusion in Aalborg on Thursday, 8 November. The jury has nominated five candidates from each region, and from among the six winners a national winner will be found who will be this year's Danish EY Entrepreneur Of The Year.
