Base Logistics ist ein Asset-light-Anbieter für integrierte Transport- und Lagerverwaltungsdienstleistungen, der sich auf zeit- und geschäftskritische Transporte spezialisiert. Das Unternehmen wurde 1994 vom aktuellen CEO gegründet und hat seinen Sitz im niederländischen Moerdijk.
Über seine proprietäre Cloud-basierte Software-Plattform Klairy bietet Base Logistics seinen Kunden Zugang zu einem globalen Netzwerk von mehr als 400 nationalen und internationalen Transportanbietern und mehr als 150 strategischen Lagerorten. Transportanbieter können automatisch oder anhand von vom Kunden bestimmten Kriterien wie Preis, Performance, Genauigkeit, Geschwindigkeit usw. ausgewählt werden. Außerdem werden die Transporte vor der Ankunft am Lieferort vom Kontrollturm von Base zurückverfolgt, wofür jeweils mehr als zehn Etappenziele vorgesehen sind.
